According to the survey, 50.8% of the survey takers have a DX12 GPU with Windows 10 (increased by 16% in just a month). What’s also interesting here is the significant increase of the DX12GPU+Windows10 systems. AMD has also launched its new Ryzen CPUs so it will be interesting to see whether it will be able to further increase its CPU market share. So yeah, in three months the red team has managed to increase its Steam market share by 6%.ĪMD has also managed to increase its CPU market share by up to 4.6% (compared to last month) and by 6.9% (compared to two months ago). Last time we reported Steam’s hardware survey was two months ago and AMD was back then at 8.9%. NVIDIA and Intel are still dominating the PC market on the GPU and CPU side, respectively, however it’s great witnessing AMD striking back (after all, this competition will benefit customers).ĪMD’s GPUs market share has been increased from 10.8% to 14.9%.
